Sketchy health guru #1 will tell you to eat carrots every 3 hours to look good, while health guru #2 will tell you to fast for 20 hours and then do 3 hours of cardio before you have your first ice cream. Meanwhile, they’re miserable starving themselves and slaving away 7 days a week in the gym. 

And you have fallen into their trap.

This thing should end.

And if you keep reading, I’ll show you why 100’s of clients we have worked within our gym claim that our simple mindset shifts and fundamentals changed their lives forever, and how we helped them build a body they love and a body that they can sustain.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but here is what your current situation look like: 

 ☹️ You have tried so many diets yet you can’t hold onto any of them for more than a few weeks. You go “all in” and heavily restrict your diet, eliminating almost all food sources. You lose some weight but end up feeling so weak and you crave for food – and then you binge eat, gain the weight back up and end up feeling guilty and frustrated.

QUICK-FIX DIETS AND EXTREME METHODS DON'T WORK.

The more quick-fix diets and intense exercise programs you try, the more shitty and stuck you might feel.

Any weight that is lost is usually gained back within a couple of weeks because when you restrict your diet severely, you typically want those things more.  Heavy dietary restrictions typically create feelings of deprivation which commonly lead to bigger cravings, periods of bingeing or overeating, food obsession, and weight gain. 

You also may experience painful and irregular periods and have digestive issues, low sex drive, and overall foggy feeling.

From all of the above, you can tell how extreme dietary restrictions and quick fixes are just counterproductive.

No 8-week program is going to miraculously get you to where you want to be.

You’re chasing your tail in a circle. You feel stuck.

I’ve walked in your shoes… I went through this process, I’ve done this a million times. I tried everything – From low carb to Keto, Fasting, Shakes, You name it. 

Nothing was sustainable for the long term.

The reason that you always give in to binge eating and cravings is simply due to the fact that you don’t supply your body the nutrients it needs. You keep on restricting and restricting important nutrients while you increasing the physical demand on your body.

Think about it.. You are depleting all your energy sources yet you are not refueling your body properly.

How could you properly function? How could you possibly be healthy and achieve your results?

You have to eat more. 

Yes, even though it’s going against the whole concept of losing weight”.

You can’t live off 1000 calories per day.

Going into such an extreme caloric deficit is not the way to go. Yes, it has to be just enough so you could lose weight, but you can’t get to low where you end up hurting yourself.

You will feel like shi*, Your body will go into survival mode.

And guess what? You will not lose weight, you’ll get stuck.

Don’t fall into the hype of “superfoods” and “magic shakes”.

You should eat real nutrient food, and you certainly don’t have to give up your favorite treats. (My favorite is chocolate fudge).

When you nail down your macros and support your body with the right nutrients – binge eating will stop, your weight will drop and you will get closer to achieving the body you are after.

It’s a win-win.

Now, let’s move on.

When Penn State researchers put dieters into three groups—no exercise, aerobic exercise only, or aerobic exercise and weight training—they all lost around 21 pounds, but the lifters shed 6 more pounds of fat than those who didn’t pump iron. Why? The lifters’ loss was almost pure fat; the others lost both fat and muscle.

Another research on dieters who don’t lift shows that, on average, 75 percent of their weight loss is from fat, while 25 percent is from muscle. Muscle loss may drop your scale weight, but it doesn’t improve your reflection in the mirror and it makes you more likely to gain back the flab you lost. However, if you weight train as you diet, you’ll protect your hard-earned muscle and burn more fat.

How?

Because muscle burns more energy at rest than fat tissue. Muscle also gives you that toned and defined shape you’re after.

Cardio won’t get you strong – thus, it won’t build muscle.

In order to change your body composition, your main focus should be to gradually increase your strength. 

(Your body composition is the reason you don’t look how you want to look).

Strength training will help you increase lean muscle mass and lose body fat all while increasing your calories not decreasing them.

And no, you won’t get bulky.  Unlike men, women typically don’t gain size from strength training, because compared to men, women have 10 to 30 times less of the hormones that cause muscle hypertrophy (muscle gain). You will, however, develop muscle tone and definition, and will definitely become stronger.

You have to look at the process of building your body like a marathon, not a sprint.

It takes time and patience to build a body you love, it can’t be done in short 6 weeks like the challenges promise…

Sure, you can build habits, but for a drastic change, you will have to put in the work. Day in and day out.
